To view Hikvision cameras on your phone, install the Hik-Connect app, create an account, and add your recorder by scanning its QR code or entering its serial number. Once it's linked you can watch live, play back footage and get alerts from anywhere, over Wi-Fi or mobile data - no landline required.
What you need
Your Hikvision NVR or DVR connected to your router (by network cable), the free Hik-Connect app, and the device's QR code or 9-character serial number (on the label or in the menu).
Step by step
- Enable Hik-Connect (P2P) on the recorder: in its menu go to the network / platform access settings and turn on Hik-Connect, then set a verification code.
- Install Hik-Connect on your phone and create an account.
- Add your device - tap the + and scan the recorder's QR code, or enter its serial number manually.
- Enter the verification code you set on the recorder when prompted.
- View your cameras - you'll now see live view and can play back recordings and receive motion alerts.
Tips
