ColorVu Cameras

ColorVu cameras from Hikvision and HiLook produce full-colour video footage in near-total darkness, using a large-aperture lens and a warm supplemental LED light rather than the standard infrared used by conventional night-vision cameras. The result is colour images at night instead of the black-and-white footage produced by IR cameras — making it far easier to identify clothing colours, vehicle colours, and other details when reviewing incidents.

This collection includes individual ColorVu cameras across 4MP and 8MP resolutions, available in bullet, dome, and turret housings. All models are suitable for outdoor use with IP67 weatherproofing, and vandal-resistant IK10 variants are available for at-risk locations. Cameras connect via PoE over a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable.

ColorVu cameras are compatible with Hikvision NVRs and integrate with the Hik-Connect and IVMS-4200 platforms for remote viewing on mobile and desktop. Many models also include AcuSense AI motion detection, which filters alerts to only trigger on humans and vehicles rather than general movement, significantly reducing false notifications.
