4MP IP Kits

Our 4MP IP CCTV kits offer a significant step up from standard 1080p systems, recording at 2560×1440 pixels for sharper, more detailed footage without the storage demands of 4K. Each kit is a complete system including 4MP IP cameras, a Hikvision PoE NVR, hard drive options, and cabling.

4MP resolution provides a good balance between image quality and storage efficiency, making it a popular choice for homes, small businesses, and offices where detail matters but long recording times are also required. The increased resolution compared to 2MP means number plates and facial features are clearer in recorded footage, particularly when reviewing incidents.

Cameras in our 4MP kits use Power over Ethernet (PoE), connecting to the NVR via a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable that carries both power and video data. Selected models feature full-colour night vision using Hikvision ColorVu or HiLook ColorVu technology, delivering colour images in near darkness rather than black-and-white infrared.

Available in 4-camera and 8-camera configurations with HDD choices from no drive through to 8TB, and with pre-terminated cabling options for a faster installation.
